I can't imagine that taking Chantix is a problem, I think you can fly 72 hours after stopping. With depression, though, medicated or not, you can't fly without showing that treatment was successful, and even then you're grounded until you do that. You lose your certificate for not informing...

Just a quick point - having a condition that would result in denial of medical certification is not the same thing as having a condition that would make a person unable to fly in a safe manner.
