This will be my second year, so I don't have the long term advice of the previous guy (seems like good advice though), but you can go out to the AirVenture website and see what's going on each day to see if there is something on a particular day you don't want to miss.

Hi, there. I just had mine after 2 years of not flying. Like many others have said. It is a *review*, not a test. It's your chance to remember what you learned and to learn a little more. Mine took a little longer because I got my TW while I was at it, but it's nothing to be nervous over. :)

Sorry for hijacking your thread. We attended the Sporty's fly in (we lived about 15 minutes away at the time) and it was... okay. On a scale of 1 to 10, I'd give it a 5. This is slightly unfair as the only other fly in I've been to is Airventure. :) Also, yes, we would totally go to KEYE...
