Probably going to be living on the north side, but working southeast of there around Liberty. Going to be living there, so I'll have a car. Just flying home every other weekend or so.
I accepted a temporary (2 to 3 years) assigment near Greensboro. It's a 7.5 hour drive from my home, but a little over 2 hour flight. I need a good GA airport hopefully with a good flying community/EAA chapter. Anybody live/familiar with that area?
I know it's late notice, but I'm in San Diego for work and just got the day off tomorrow. Thought about renting but not sure I want to deal with this complicated air space in a plane I'm not familiar with.
Anybody interested in splitting the costs on a sight seeing flight around the area?
I bought a Prusa mini a couple of years ago to get started in printing. Just recently spent the money to buy the new Bambulabs X1 Carbon with the AMS. It works so well it's ridiculous. Multi color prints are a breeze, the fault detection works great.

the instrument panel on a 1956 172? The part # is 0513004-11.
We're going to install a 430 and figure this is a good time to sort out that old shotgun panel. I'd like to get the dimensions on that panel so i can start trying to lay out a new one in cad.
