Howdy folks, I've been MIA for a while.

,Well it's been a day or 3 lol since I've posted on here. I came back today looking at another post and ended up seeing that LD Jones had passed away, not exactly what I wanted to see, but his legacy will live on in our memories and the memories of the pilots and people he affected over the...

This will convince you to buy a twin

Thanks. Yeah she's in pretty decent shape considering the hours >18500. The parts that im having the hardest time finding is the rear spar cover and the headliner most of the other plastics and side panels i think I've located. But it will do for now.

Trying to buy an aircraft with deceased owners.

I looking for some information on being able to acquire/buy an aircraft when the owner is deceased. I did a search with the N number as to the owner's name only find he had passed several years (97) and seems as though the wife has passed away also at some point. Is there a way to find out about...

Wings of hope numbers are up.

Yes I did assume the numbers were sequential, I figured that way it would be easy for accountability and transparency. With the of age of computers these days, setting up a program to do this would be easy. And no I didn't think there was guy with a roll tickets tearing them apart and...

Wings of hope numbers are up.

I for one would like to how do they come up with the numbers in the drawing? Supposedly the only 5,000 were sold for aircraft and other prizes but the numbers on tickets shown up to 16,400 numbers between them. I bought in early so my numbers are even lower to tone of 16,951 between mine and...

    GFC500 without a G5

Well the 5k plus install for the GFC500 and another 3k plus for the G5 kindof makes me balk at the set up. I'm sure it will be superior to the trutrak or trio , its just a financial issue and eating into the reserves.

    GFC500 without a G5

Looks like trio or trutrak it is then. I will start doing some research on both of those to see which one will be the best bang for the buck. Thanks for the info. Since the panel is all garmin I was gonna stick with the 500 and not look at the alternatives for an AP.

    GFC500 without a G5

Ok I was afraid of that. Is there an autopilot that can utilize the GPS but yet will not require the addition of a G5? I'm just trying to keep the outlay of cash to a minimum after the purchase of the autopilot.

    GFC500 without a G5

I have been looking into buying(acquiring)an aircraft with a GPS navigator (GNX375) but without a G5. Is it possible to add a GFC500 autopilot and be totally functional without adding a G5? What may be the limitations if any?

    C-421 Down in Deland FL

In addition to the description of the flight path, it has all the earmarks of a VMC roll. I hope it's just coincidence but they released the names of the occupants today and one had the same name as a flight instructor at DeLand. Prayers and condolences go out the the family's

    Yeah Baby.

A new update although a bit late. I did take the private multi. But yet again I had a discontinuance for a mechanical issue. There is really no bigger of a wake-up call then the aircraft making a right hand turn when full power is applied for take-off. I did pass the oral with flying colors and...
