I third the GoPro, that has been extremely useful for me. Especially when doing landings! If you need any help connecting to audio let me know, its pretty easy though.

Medical ASAP! Mine got deferred and it took about 6 months to finally get cleared. Meanwhile I now have 50 hours and yet to solo.

I recently took the Private and thought it was fairly easy. The trick is to take practice tests over and over until you are getting over 90% consistently. You get a test book with all the images in it as well. I think any multiple choice test is easy though if you know the information.
