Private checkride went horribly wrong!

When 'Pete' takes his ride again, how much you want to bet that the FSDO is going to send an inspector to 'inspect' the DPE <cough><cough>

This is starting to sound alot like Bruce or Ron playing fun. . . .

Bruce doesn't have the time, nor the personality. I don't think Ron could play this off this well.

Jay Honeck OTOH is definitely a ripe candidate. or it could be me sockpuppeting myself...:dunno:

You know the admins are watching closely and will hit the "Lock" button the moment 999 is posted, or maybe 998 with a "Thread Locked" as 999

It shouldn't be much longer now!

Heh - I can see it now. Jay is typing his "Gotcha, Suckas!!!" message, and the mods lock the thread just before he hits "Post Quick Reply".

I have to say, I've definitely joined the "gotta be a troll" camp. At first I thought it's never wise to underestimate the ability of some people to act like ignorant buffoons, but "Pete's" posts from the last few days have been just so far over the top even I have difficulty imagining such a person could be for real. And I suspect the MC un-banned the account just for sport. So whoever it is, really... well played.

Permanent banning is not the first nor second line of action.

I think "Pete" should drink right up to 6 hours before the ride. Brilliant. I mean stay up until 2am and then sleep for 5 hours or so and then go do a ride. Hungover and sleep deprived sounds like a winning combination!

71 more to go

Well, you can ask the DPE to act as PIC for the checkride...I'm sure it would go over very well:

"Sir, can you be PIC for the checkride, I just finished off a mickey of vodka in the parking lot."

They need to sticky it and label it "Best Thread Ever!"

Without a doubt, the best laugh I've had in days, reading today's posts.

66 to go.

I really need to get out more.

Here, just to keep this going, choose your favorite Pete avatar:

1. half-fro douche
2. third-eye goatee-guy with turban-hair
3. hitler guy

You decide.

There's still plenty more to choose from.

I have to do my part to get to 1000 posts...

Man this guy has drawn us all off sides with a few of his posts...

I'll will admit being lured to this thread to a point of decreased productivity at work...

Anybody else notice that half-fro douche looks a lot like James Holmes (Aurora Movie Theater guy)? He was a PhD student....hmmmmm

'Gimp

Personally I think Rich is on to something, this may be Jay... seriously, no one can be this deficient without it being for fun.

You know, you might be on to something there!

Jay has been suspiciously absent.

That's a great idea. I've challenged a couple of grey areas in aviation, but NEVER alcohol. Never never never. If you're involved in an accident or incident they WILL ask your friends/family if you'd been drinking at one time. If you kill enough people they'll find out where you were and what time you stopped drinking. IDIOT.

I don't get this one. Alcohol impairs your reflexes. Yet, the majority of you will drink and drive. Maybe you will be slightly below the legal limit for driving, but that is okay. Why is aviation so sacred that you cannot even think of breaking the law there, yet driving where you could easily kill 4 to 6 people in a drunken crash is "acceptable".

When I drink and drive, I make sure to snort a speedball off a hookers ass so all the effects blend to counter each other.

Would you care to provide the source of that "information"? Otherwise, assumes facts not in evidence.

Seriously, and I know there are a lot of disbelievers out there, but seriously I am not any of these posters you are referring to. I am real. I know, how can someone this brilliant yet nervous at being tested exist? It is an enigma. Such a talented pilot who has yet to secure his certificate. It is a crime. A crime which will shortly be rectified.

I don't drink and drive, sorry. :dunno:

49 to go. Maybe troll will reveal himself.

We look forward to observing your realness your holy rectitude. Heck, let us know where and when your next checkride is. No matter where you are, you won't be far from a member here, they can set up a webcam so we can observe your awesome landings.

Ooooh...now I'm thinking of another doofus who thought he was owed sympathy...Moselin.

Your ego is so large I am surprised you can fit your headset over it. You must realize that your responses since you started this thread are so out of touch with what any rational person would say that people are more believing that you are a troll, or a setup as a joke, than a real person. If you really believe what you are saying and you are not fooling with us then you really should consider holding off on getting your PPL, and seaking professional help. If however you are fooling with us, or a troll then the jokes on us.

What's the big deal with landings? It is so easy, even a computer can do it. Category 3 ILS. Closed loop. Watch speed, watch the threshold, control pitch and throttle. Use rudder to point down centerline and opposite aileron to track it with no side drift. That sums it up totally.

Absolutely trivial.

The problem with most pilots is they think they're special. No, you're not. Nothing special. Just a hairless ape at the controls. That is all.

I am special. I'm a hairless ape with some other skills.

I know I infuriate you. You wish I were dead. I point out what is obvious, and you hate me for it.

What's the big deal with landings?
lmfao. Just wait. Get into the right circumstance with the wrong airplane and you'll suddenly decide landing isn't nearly as simple as it sounds.
