This is aviation related in a way. Taking bets on hitting a beer can by the taxiway at my family's private strip with a Hi-point 9mm rifle. Laser site and scope, we all hit it after a few shots from 50 yards.

Hi-Point? We may have to pretend we don't know you anymore. ;) ;) ;)

It was a free gun, does that help? And like I said, it took a few shots, Hi-Point....

ROFL. Free is the right price for those. Although I'll admit, they're so damn cheap I've been tempted just to get one to try out to see just how bad they are. Can't beat the price! ;) They're sure huge and clunky!

There's a USAF guy in Colorado Springs who's actually kinda a Hi-Point connoisseur. He does anonymous YT videos about them, pointing out that if you simply just want to learn to shoot, they're uber-cheap and usually always go bang.

Now you guys have me wondering if I should be shooting this thing at all. I guess I'll stick to my other name brand guns haha.

Got to see this fly near Dayton today!

Never owned one myself but everyone I know who has one says yup they are cheap, most of them shoot very well and lots of fun.

East of Tucson this Tuesday. Most interesting conversation on the frequency "Don't have that traffic yet, approach" "Traffic's got you in sight, he's right above you" :D
Overall busy week. Saw U-2 fly in CA, this in AZ, Chinook doing touch and goes in MS

With PD 20 left and right and 195kts, it was actually a lot of fun... That prob topped out at 9.5, max.

How did you manage that with the TFR in effect? (UN general assembly).
Nice shot!

I was on flight following with NY approach (well east of the city) and Air Force One comes up on the frequency inbound to JFK! That was pretty darn cool hearing Air Force One talking to the same controller!

That was a first for me.

Sorry I couldn't get a picture:lol:
