Zero time engine cost

Yeah, the experimental versions are a bit cheaper. It amazes me, for that price I can make a reliable 700hp in a Chevy.:nonod:
A buddy recently dropped about $12k and has 685hp on the dyno. installed in his 55 chevy.

If you want a 0 time engine, I highly recommend AirPower Inc.

I just put a brand new O-430 in my 182. Yes, the cost compared to an overhaul might have been throwing money away, but it actually was not that much difference. Labor, fix the engine mount, new baffles, new JPI EDM-900, more labor ... those were a bigger factor.

Air Power's price for a new engine was much lower than factory direct, and their service was fantastic. I ended up having the exact same person at the factory process the order, so I can't explain the financials of getting it cheaper through a third party, but that's the way it is with Continental anyhow.
