You can't make this stuff up!

Two perps dial 911 while discussing breaking into cars. After being arrested, one asked: we really dialed 911?

Best,

Dave

FRESNO, Calif. – Two suspects arrested for breaking into a car in Central California accidentally called 911 on a cellphone, which led police to them.

KXTV in Sacramento reports a dispatcher was able to hear a rambling 35-minute conversation between the men as they discussed buying drugs and what implements to use to break into vehicles in Fresno.

The dispatcher listened in as the suspects smashed a car's window and found prescription drugs.

The men drove off, but the dispatcher picked up clues about where they were headed. A police officer pulled them over and arrested the two 20-year-olds.

At the end of the call the men learned how they were caught. One of them can be heard asking, "We really called 911?"

A toy gun (for a GI Joe, the gun was slightly larger than a quarter), caused a panic on a school bus.

http://www1.whdh.com/news/articles/...-gun-causes-disturbance-on-palmer-school-bus/

"A plastic LEGO-sized gun caused a disturbance on a Old Mill Pond Elementary School bus Friday morning."

"The letter also has photo of the toy showing it’s actual size, which is slightly larger than a quarter."

what a bunch of morons.

They aren't pancakes. The Daily Mail is British.
Aha, I see... I'd always assumed that "flapjack" was Brit/Canuck speak for "pancake." but it is, in fact, yet another thing that really should be called a cookie, but they have found some other weird word for it.

Well, at any rate, they are obviously a menace.

There has to be an adjective for dumber than a moron.

Evidently, myth busters tested something like this and found it was false, but the fella certainly could have tripped or fallen on the hot rail when he got the surprise pee feedback.

This guy seems to have a pretty crappy outlook on life.

Man arrested after being found in septic tank of park restroom.

Guess if you do something like this, you should have a good "cover" story.

There will be a cloned version of the Rockefeller Center
And a pair of skyscrapers that will closely resemble the original World Trade Center towers

It's being reported that the recent Russian rocket failure occurred because angular velocity sensors known as DUS were installed upside down. “Each of those sensors had an arrow that was suppose to point toward the top of the vehicle, however multiple sensors on the failed rocket were pointing downward instead.

There's a good reason why the Soviet block aircraft were usually designed to be as mechanically and electronically simple as possible.

City crews accidentally demolish wrong home. Tough to get those addresses right and to disregard those pesky neighbors that tell you it's the wrong house.

What's a matter sports shooters? Doves, quail and other game birds not moving around 'nough for ya? Move to Deer Trail Colorado where one may be able to get a drone hunting license (g)

The tiny town of Deer Trail, Colo. — barely more than a wide spot on Interstate 70 about 55 miles east of Denver, population 546 — is considering an ordinance that would authorize licensed bounty hunters to shoot down unmanned aircraft violating its “sovereign airspace.”

Makes me want to paint an RC plane like a drone and fly it legally.

Lots of jokes about that around here locally today.

I told someone I'd rather they just allow drones to all Citizens equally so I can do surveillance on local politicians 24/7.

Fair is fair. :)

Of maybe she needs Karen's textbook...

As reported in the Washington Post, Hahne, who is based in Springfield, Missouri, pulls his doleful Netherland dwarf rabbit out of a prop as his show’s grand finale. In order to own an animal for performance, Hahne must have a license. The strings attached to the official USDA license are delineated over 14 pages and include surprise visits to his home, submitting an itinerary to the USDA for extended trips and regular visits to the vet. Now, he also falls under the new USDA regulation for emergency preparedness. Fires, ice storms, floods, loss of air conditioning — he must detail his plan for keeping Casey safe.

I've heard the story. I liked one suggestion regarding the 'emergency preparedness plan' he's required to submit: "In case of emergency place sign around rabbit's neck. Sign will say 'In case of emergency: Kill, Cook, Eat.'"
