You can always go around

Might make listening to that a half dozen times one of the pre solo requirements for my students once I get my cfi lol.
 
Not when your only engine has swallowed a valve. :cool:

At least that's what I told the tower when it happened to me.

When I told my primary flight instructor that I went around twice at a particular airport on one of my solo cross-countries, he said "GOOD BOY!"
 
Go around just a reason to get up the courage to nail the landing.

I went around one evening coming home from an FAA Wings seminar, with several planes in trail. My transition CFI was in the plane behind me, riding along. When I went around, the discussion they reported to me was, "if that boy keeps flying like that, he's gonna live a long time." That's my goal . . .

... but some go arounds are more interesting than others.
