Want To Buy WTB: Narco AT165 transponder

I am looking to buy a reasonably priced Narco AT 165 transponder.

I currently have a Narco AT50 but it has been having trouble and it is my third replacement. I have been told that since the 165 is a solid state it is much more reliable and fits the same tray.

FYI, the AT155 is also solid state. IF you are having transponder issues, you better make certain the antenna and coax are not part of the problem before you install another one...just saying...Good luck.

But isn't the AT155 even more rare than the AT165 and AT150?

You know that they made 3 versions of the AT165 (slide-in AT150 replacement, slide-in KT76 replacement and slide-in ARC RT359A replacement) and you got the correct version, right?

I just looked it up using the part number and I think I got lucky cause it says its a direct replacement for the AT50
