Sounds cool, for free I hope.
 
I'd be willing to bet it's just another new, free, feature. Unlike the competition, Hilton has added countless new features and kept them in the "normal" subscription.

That's what I was trying to say lol.
 
I don't see it in the app store yet. I can't wait to give it a try. My old PC based MountainScope navigation program had that and it was really neat. MountainScope was a very nice program with synth vision and had a lot of features that were cutting edge for the time. Unfortunately it was just on the wrong platform. I had it on an eBook PC. As soon a iPads came out I switched over to ForeFlight then to WingX because I love the iPad so much better than the eBook. What I love about WingX is that Hilton is constantly looking at improving the program and adding new features that are useful.
 
And almost a month later, still no release...sounds like it was rushed to have an announcement for the show and it was probably still in development /pre beta testing....

FF announced their tracking feature and it was released after the show....
 
Looks like they are in a hurry ,do to Foreflight,introducing track log and weight and balance. Good to see that wing x pro is keeping up with the competition.
 
Keeping up? Track logging has been in WingX for about two years. You can turn on logging and then have it to to AVConnect. The new "Rewind" is a whole 'nuther animal. It records flight data way beyond GPS tracks.

And hence my eagerness to try it out !!!
 
Ditto here... Although they did warn the release would be later in Aug. That's what they get for pre-release leaks. teasers...
 
I suppose waiting a few days for a bug free release is worth it, anything to avoid the mess that was version 8.0 rollout
