And only some attachment file formats (.jpg, .gif) show thumbnails, others (.tif, .bmp) only show as clickable link.

So you should save it as a jpg image!

Here is another observation. I won't say where my dot fell but I went back and looked at the responses and my dot fell very close to those whose aviation opinions mine usually agree with.
Not too surprising I guess. Makes me wonder, do we tend to hang out with people whose opinions are closest to our own on socio-political issues (I felt uncomfortable on another av board in the past and came here, after all).
If so, what does that say about a person's acceptance of conflicting views?

Me too, Mari. Mine were surprisingly close to yours. -1.13 and -2.87. I'm
a slightly left leaning Libertarian apparently.

Interesting. I've never voted for a Democratic candidate .. but I find myself
more and more questioning some of the decisions of Repubs I've helped
put in office.

Mothers may have careers, but their first duty is to be homemakers.

Families should put careers second to raising their children.

Make it gender and situation neutral - nothing wrong with dad staying home to raise the kids if mom makes more - better than daycare farming.

Nick is the one and only above the Lib/Auth line and just barely at that. I wish there was a "general population" sample to compare to, but assuming that it's balanced, it sure looks like pilots (or at least pilots who respond to such polls on this webboard) lean well away from the Authoritarian viewpoint.

I think the whole point there was to find out how you feel about women's role in society? Your Q assesses a different social value of the respondents. (although I agree with your A)
