Whelen Lights

It looks like to replace my OEM Cessna wing tip strobes and green/red position lights with Whalen’s, I’d have to also buy an additional $750 plastic adaptor that I’d have to cut, trim, and then paint. I think I’ll just ignore this upgrade until something burns out.

Got any specs for 1980 172N?
No specs needed. Just go out in the daytime and stand way down the ramp and have someone turn each on on for you. You'll figure it out real quick if it makes any difference with your plane.

If you want real specs, you mechanic should be able to tell you what the angle is, if there is one at all. Like I said, my two lights are Landing, so they are the same. Maybe yours are too, but they let you turn one off.

I have vernier-assist for mixture and prop. I consider it a huge plus. Would not work for throttle because I have an aerobatic aircraft.

I’ve got the vernier for prop, mix, and throttle. Love it - highly recommend.
