What's your excuse for cancelling a day of flying?

Got the following message in my inbox today:

Dear Club Member,

****** ******* cancelled a reservation for N***** from 04/01/2015, 07:00am to 04/02/2015, 07:00pm due to the following reason:

Obama!

I didn't realize until later that the POTUS will be in town then. :rofl:
 
When I come home and find the damn dog got into the dark chocolate and is yacking all over the place....

We cancel our plans to fly in a B-24 ... :mad2:

Cancelled a flight this past weekend. My pax (mother in law) was too weak to lift herself out of the front seat of the old bo. Knew something was not right as this is the same lady that has bugged me every time she can for a ride in whatever I was flying at the time... Including the da20 which is a bit tricky for a Senior...

Ended up taking her to the ER... She will be fine, but didn't see that one coming... She has a very complicated medical history.

(my wife was kidding me that it was my flying.... Just glad to be in the position to laugh about it..)

Anyway, size up the fitness of your pax. Our trip back to her house in Kansas could have been ugly...
 
Went to watch a wheelchair basketball tourney that my friend's son was playing in.
 
Either weather or work.
But Nov thru Jan it was because I sold my plane and hadn't bought a new one yet.
Going up tomorrow though.
 
Well I was going to take the Korean and her daughter on a flight last weekend (they had never flown GA before) but hubby apparently wasn't on board with the program, so she bailed. I had no other reason to go flying that day so I bagged it and got some biking in.
 
Thought alternator 2 had gone bad. Cancelled as it is on the MEL.
Took it in, was told it came unplugged.

Now if these clouds will go away.
 
The helo I was supposed to hot-switch into is sitting on a very oily patch of sand somewhere in the desert.

Dead battery for the third time in a month. New battery arrived today. It is charging now.
(Why is it that I can get it shipped to me for $75 less than buying it local?)
 
Kids at my flight school cancel because they are too hungover or still drunk from the night before...
 
I cancelled on Sunday for winds 17G23.

I had a new-to-small-planes passenger, and those gusts are above my comfort level for landing. Crappy part is that winds were 8 knots before we left the house for the 35 minute drive to the airport.
 
That bastard Obama canceled my transition training in Phoenix last month. Argh!
 
I just wanted to let y'all know that y'all inspired me to grill tonight. Had some awesome burgers, grilled corn and great company.
