I flew through some rain recently (heavy rain for a 2.5-3 hours straight)

I noticed this when I landed back home.. I have seen wear on the my prop edge but what would cause the paint to come off on the inner part of the blade? Could rain have caused this?

Poor prep? It would have been a difficult area to prep if painted on the plane with the spinner in place.

That is what I am thinking too.. it seems as though it was "cleanly removed" not like the edges that are not smooth like that.. Someone mentioned icing but I did not encounter any icing..

Have to agree probably Poor prep, but also rain doesn't help. What does the back of the prop look like? My composite can't take heavy rain for any length of time.

Yep, they waited too long to paint the top coat over the primer.
