What a day - IR checkride

Explain? (Sorry for not knowing.)

If your plan is to be a CFI, is that full time or as a "second" job (assuming you have a first job)?
Well, my "first job" is software developing.
My second job is a bass player.
My third job is a Soundman.
My forth...

I would like to fly for a living, being a CFI looks like the first step - not (only) as a "time builder". I love everything airborne and the thought about getting paid to help people with learning how to fly is exciting to me.
Not super interested in airlines at this point.
I'm might think differently in 5 years, but for now - that's my goal.

Full time or part time?
Lets face it, CFIs aren't getting payed much. If I could keep my computer gig as a part time - it might help.
If I have to pick one - CFI all the way.

I'm used to living on a tight budget. In fact, I've been saving most every penny for the last 4 years so I can afford the expense.
My CFI makes fun of my tunnel vision, that is truly all I want to do.

As long as I can keep afloat - I'm very much ok with being a poor pilot.

Famous last words?
