Which is preferred and why? Any downsides to wedge lights, will the sliding scale on the top of airspeed indicators for true airspeed display interfere?

Not sure what a wedge light is, but potato wedges are delicious. :)

Go with the light rings absolutely, the airspeed ring compatibility is good to pay attention to, but should be workable.

You can shape the "light rings" with a Dremel easily enough as long as you stay out of the "light" part.

I've worked with this brand for decades and love them.
