Wedge lights or post lights

Which is preferred and why? Any downsides to wedge lights, will the sliding scale on the top of airspeed indicators for true airspeed display interfere?

Go with the light rings absolutely, the airspeed ring compatibility is good to pay attention to, but should be workable.

You can shape the "light rings" with a Dremel easily enough as long as you stay out of the "light" part.
