Had to search hard in the Denver press for any coverage of the Democratic fundraisers at all. One TV station's website (CBS) doesn't even have an article on the President's arrival in town yet. Ha.
Maybe the news truck broke down.
Only one fundraiser article had any details online, $5000/plate for dinner, and $10000 to have your picture taken with him. Screaming' deal. I guess the other stations didn't ask.
I assume that the second fundraiser is for $20/plate and hosted at the local Union hall. You know, supporting all those blue-collar folk who supposedly are the backbone of the Democratic Party and whom they care so deeply for.
Here's the real reason...
Local Democratic Party Chairman, "It's absolutely critical that we win the Latino vote."

There ya have it. The real reason for the visit to Denver.
Tomorrow the speech on Student Loan rules changing will be about loan repayment rules will require that repayment will be capped to 10% of the borrowers discretionary income.
Whatever that means.
That'll be a fun government form... How will "discretionary" income be calculated? If you're driving a new car and carrying an iPad will those be "necessary" items, or "discretionary"?
Didn't the students know how much they were borrowing, and the repayment plan? They of course have the absolute best public educations that included math like how to calculate compounding interest, right?
