Circumstances force me to put N2088, my 1937 Warner 145 powered 24G,
on the market. I'm giving the list first crack; ads will go on Trade-
A-Plane and Barnstormers next Sunday.

It is a beautiful plane in great condition. Professional frame-up
rebuild in 1993. It was featured in a German aviation magazine in 2001.

Sale may include many spares, among which are a Warner 145 engine
core w accessories (no logs, no yellow tags). Spares will be offered
for sale separately if the aircraft buyer chooses not to purchase
them with the plane. I'll be making a list of parties interested in
the spares only.

Absolutely Beautiful! You can tell your love and care for the aircraft in your site. Wish you the best!

That ain't my aircraft, it belongs to Dan, and well worth the asking price.

Note the N number it is different than mine.

where else can you get a round engine war bird for under 100k?

I had to look twice, too. The wording on your post made it look initially like it was yours you were talking about. But you haven't finished it yet.

Looks great. Wish I was in the market.

made me do a double-take, too, Tom! I didn't catch the N number right away ...

Startled me too, but I saw the "...restoration in 1993..." and knew, before I looked at the N-number.

...

Man, I cannot wait to see your Fairchild on the grassy lawn at Gaston's...

That's a beautiful plane Tom. If I had 60K...

By the way, any updates on your project?

Its been cold and wet all winter and I have not worked on it much since last fall. I did work the doors and hinges and they are ready to go on, and a few other small projects in the garage at home but nothing big.

If I had about 3 weeks to work it I'd probably fly it.

But I have 3 annuals to do this month, and that is the way its been all spring.

Well, I keep looking for updates!

I recently re read your story about bringing the F24 home, and I couldn't believe how many ground loops that thing gave you! I'm guessing a new tw should sort that out?
