Thought I was watching the Spirit of St. Louis again!
I have always had a soft spot for the C-170. I’ll probably buy one once I decide to sell the Tiger and move to a pure weekend flyer.

BTW- someone told me that the 170 has more cabin width than the 172. Can anyone confirm this?

The fuselages are exactly the same width ... the 172 started out as merely a tri-gear modification of the proposed 1956 Model 170C. Variations in upholstery, armrests, door handles, etc., can account for slight differences in interior dimensions.
