Training on an RV8

Hi, I am a UK pilot who did my CAA PPL at Long Beach and new to the forum.

I have the total privilege to be buying an RV8 in October 2016.

Does anyone know of anyone that does type training in the USA on an RV8 taildragger configuration (Not the RV8A Nosewheel)???

I am happy to go anywhere in the USA as I love the place and fancy a couple of weeks away from the rain

Any help appreciated.

I bought an 8 two years ago and got my transition training with Alex DeDominicis in his RV-7.

Will your 8 have controls in the rear seat? Mine doesn't, so I couldn't train in it. The first time I flew it was solo! That was exciting.

Thank you all for your advice. I am now in conversation with Bruce Bohannon so it looks like I am off to Texas to fly an RV8 -excellent!
