I have been recently seeing a lot of these while browsing airplanes and ultralights, sport planes etc.
How do these compare to a 150? If the moon and stars line up I want to get something someday. I was just thinking how a 150 would compare to a sport plane like the titon with a 912 on it. I probably would mostly fly around where I live and maybe an hour or so breakfast flight sometimes. Thoughts? or titon owners out there?

Similar fuel burn and useful load. Tornado should be a few knots faster. Way less range (small fuel capacity) for the Tornado. Can miss handle (abuse) a 150 far more. Tornado is structurally strong (mild aerobatic), but have to handle with kid gloves getting in or out, or moving around on the ground to avoid hanger rash.

I dont know much about the Titan but there have to be dozens of experimentals that compare to a 150 for a fraction of the operating cost.

Since the company owner died in a crash a couple of years ago you better check the status of the company now in case you might need support. I don't live far away, but I do not know anything that would help you. I did fly it once. The cg on the ground lifts the nosewheel up in the air until you climb aboard. Didn't care for that. In the front seat the hinge for the windshield sat pretty close to my face — right between my eyes. Didn't care for that either. When I landed, the brakes were on at touchdown because my heels were on the floor (where, imo, they should be) and they pinched the brake cables routed there. Didn't like that, too. But those things may have been updated since then. :dunno: It handled very nice on the controls, though, quite sporty in fact. You would like that. I did.
