Thunderbirds in mississippi this weekend

That's it airshow in columbus ms this coming weekend. Thunderbirds will be there. April 5 th and 6 th open to the public.

Have fun. I haven't seen the T-Birds since they were flying F-4s. 1971. I was in AFROTC at the time and a member of the WSU AFROTC Honor Guard. We took part in competition and the Lilac Parade in Spokane.

Yesterday, I saw the TFR posted while doing some flight planning and looked it up. It's a 2.5 hour drive for me, but I'll be there Saturday unless something keeps me. I wish I'd seen something earlier 'cause I'd have loved to try the civi fly-in.

I might be there. I'll let you know. If I go and we meet up I'll take you over to the sims if your interested. Yeah I'd love to fly in. The only bad thing is you are stuck there from Friday to Sunday.

I'm still hoping to go, but it's getting less and less likely. The wife had surgery this week and her recovery has been a bit slower than she predicted.
