It was a little windy out there, but yesterday I had a nice flight to Palomar (KCRQ) to bring back some fancy beer from a nearby brewery called Lost Abbey.

I'm not sure as it's a rental. I know the owner installs floats on it every summer. Maybe they're used to facilitate the changeover?

The eyebolts are attachment points to lift the plane for installing the floats.

Better be careful, you are almost in violation there...... no drinkin' within 50 feet of the plane, and no closer than 8 feet bottle to throttle.....

Funny, because on closer look, there are indeed four eye bolts just like that museum plane!

They are the tie down points for when you lash the case of beer to the roof. Duh?!
