This year on POA we learned.....

As a forum we are willing to invest several grand to move a toy monkey across the country using the slowest least effective means possible.

I learned that it's amazing how much people complain about trolls, yet those same people insist on feeding them.

It's for a good cause.....besides, I think someone 'double dog dared' us to do it, so we're kinda locked in.

nah - walking or using a bicycle would be the slowest.

Is it there yet? I think a bicycle might have been faster.

Folks, we just learned that, according to PaulS, riding a bicycle and flying and indeed the same speed. Interesting!

I was talking about them being about equally enjoyable. But since I didn't specifically spell that out for you word for word I understand how YOU would be confused... lol.

Ah but which one is harder, bicycle riding or flying? And are kids shunning the bicycle arts because they are lazy computer addled retards?

Missed the reference and got confused. You got me! Its the time of year, yea, that's the reason!

So, I disagree that riding a bicycle and flying and equally ENJOYABLE. Flying is much more enjoyable.

...cole slaw is more than just a side dish.

Hey no problem, to each his own. Merry Christmas.

Because nobody posts under their own name, it's as rude, judgmental, aggressive, confrontational and bigoted as ever. Let's just say I spend a lot more time over at BeechTalk - and I don't even fly a Bonanza!

Honestly, there's as much bigotry over there, but some participants wear it under their own names as a badge of honor. The mods don't suffer *******s gladly.

I learned 6PC is one of the most entertaining guys on the web.

just checked my FAA Cert against my drivers license ... we have a match ... looks like my real name here.

We learned that you can't talk about cats without some people losing their ****ing minds.

Well, April did it and she got her whole personal life exposed and was attacked way too viciously by some. Yes, anonymity makes one brave but it also protects.

That stuff has been studied and the reality is that folks on the interweb do no behave any nicer when using their real names. Just the way it is, jump in the poo swim around a bit and learn to like it.

Didn't we learn about growing marijuana?

You know, ganja, endo, Mary Jane, reefer, spliff, grass, weed, hemp...

We learned that there are gracious, intelligent, and caring folks here at POA. Just about all are logical, reasonable, self depracating, and unselfish with their willingness to help.

Whatever dude. BT is a little better (largely because this place has seriously slid in the last year), but I still see plenty of stoopid pi$$ing matches over there.

BTW, Some of the worst offenders here are ones who use their real names.

Point of order....A spliff, good sir, is not a synonym for marijuana. The term actually refers to the combination of marijuana and tobacco, and ingested through a variety of different methods.

Please, carry on.

According to this authority, it can be either.

...that pilots at a fly-in will let a guy that's downed 5 alcoholic beverages in less than 20 minutes hop right into a plane and fly without saying a word.

In their defense, They really didn't have a chance.
I think you actually drifted that plane onto the runway.

If I ever steal a plane, You are my getaway pilot.

Are you going to get in the way of a mad drunk in an ugly airplane?
