Looks kinda like one of the SOCATA TB series -- location of landing lights near the wingtip, cowl shape. But the wingtip doesn't look right.

Fuselage shape led me to initially think Bellanca, but the tail isn't big enough and the wing tips aren't right.

There was a similar find last year,, the finder bought it,, transported it to his repair field.
Showed some pics of the clean up process, but then as is always the case,
we havent heard anything else about it... sad

That is absolutely and without a doubt the one and only never before seen and rarely talked about
Cessna 172-LW which was there attemp at a Low Wing version for pilots who hate having visibility.

Aside from the bush, I've seen hundreds of those. Some still tied down. Some with interiors, engines and props removed. Even one with no wings. I doubt the story is that interesting.

The best reuse for a "retired" airplane I've ever seen was a 747 reused as a waterslide, in McMinnville, OR.

Stumbled upon this walking around Valkaria airport (X59), just south of Melbourne, when I stopped there on my way to Hollywood FL last weekend.

I've seen a DC3 rotting away at Opa Locka West and an Aero Commander (I think) doing the same at Copperhill, TN. Nothing quite like this, though.
