Jobs are the adult version of zits. If you live long enough, you can outgrow them.

Well hell, I live up in Thornton, and I'm home every other week with nothing to do for six days straight. C'mon up to BJC. I'm A LOT more stingy than Jesse, though, I can't guarantee anything better than Subway and free FBO cookies.

Shoot, that's a day and a half to get to Nebraska. I had less than that to get to Aus last time...:rofl:

had a nice lunch with David today. got a few rides in his plane and he was nice enough to give me a glider ride too.

he hopped me over to the wichita gliderport from stearman field (a whopping 2 miles). i put him in the front seat of the 2-33, told him 'your controls' and didn't touch a damn thing for the next 20 minutes. sounds like a fun ride to me! then he flew me back to my car.
 
This morning was going to be the first lesson - but there was a blue streak on the nose wheel fairing. After some poking around we could see fuel dripping out of the line that goes into the firewall to drive the fuel pressure indicator. Hoping to get it fixed ASAP.
 
Sweet. I am really jealous. I have been taking about 1 instrument lesson a week. I'm not having a problem retaining info and I am learning quickly... but I want my ticket now! At the current rate it will take me 2-3 months.. I cant wait that long!!

Yikes. Good luck guys. Glad David made it there OK on what sounds to be like a very long solo cross country.

After reading about all the rides in different aircraft he gave you, by the time I got to the end I thought you said "he flew me back in my car." :goofy:
