According to Bloomburg Business here.
N1939K, the Beech 18 with the flames on the props and nose, is based here. Beautiful plane
I guess there weren't any Starships at Oshkosh. That plane can't be beat
Oh but there was. Perhaps still there.
Then this list sucks by default
the video is kinda like flipping through a deck of cards, kinda hard to study any photo in .5 seconds. maybe you're supposed to pause it on each one, ??
Ummm...that's not what the vid says.
Kinda biased towards RVs and a few repeats.
I think they could've done better...
I agree, it is not even over yet. They do have a goods start at "The 1,000 best planes at OSH 2015".
They need to add a Beech Stagerwing. Model 17.
Flawed list..I didn't see the polished spartan executive in the video.
And rv's were well represented that's for sure. Alot of pretty ones!
Mine is the yellow/white one with the folding chars beside it, the beer cooler under it, and the tent behind it.
Saw an RV-10 that belongs to a young couple down here in GA.
That's the first time I've ever heard anyone describe a Wilga as being beautiful.
Also, this guy must have a thing for O-2s, he included two of them.
Again, there was nothing in that vid that said "beautiful." That description was nothing more than the OP's misnomer.
Directly beneath the video is written:
The 100 Most Beautiful Airplanes at Oshkosh Fly-In
I didn't say anything about the website...now did I? The video simply says "100 amazing airplanes." It says nothing about "beautiful." So, some journalist misrepresented the vid...that surprises you how?
And, true, the OP's misnomer was driven by said journalist.
I didn't say you said anything about the website...now did I?
My RV6 is in the background of the photo of the Twin Comanche that's parked on pad P.
The Free Bird was there and not in the video, hence they missed one in my opinion. I do admit to a small bit of bias, however.
well.....they did end with a Bonanza.
Golly, half of them were RV's
Don't know about Bloomberg, but according to the judges, ours was one of them ...
I got a good look at that one. Pretty!
Also loved the 172 converted to a taildragger with 180HP and an interior and exterior you could eat off of...
