I have a Lycoming engine that is exhibiting propeller issues described in Lycoming's SI1462a service instruction. The bulletin calls for a test plate ST-483 to be used for testing the oil flow pressure to the prop governor. They have fabrication specifications in the bulletin. I'm checking to see if anybody has a plate. I found one for sell online but it was over $2k for a 3 inch by 1/2 inch piece of metal with seven holes in it. If the shop has to fabricate it, that's OK. I'm seeing if I can save a few hours of shop fab time for something I can pay forward to another worthy flyer when we are done with it. RESOLVED. I have a plate and we've been able to test.
