Temporary Registration

It says ‘good for 90 days’.
They are behind; but any idea how long sending out a permanent is taking these days?
What about extending the temporary?(btw, no I didn’t buy a plane.

Just got one last month after 10 months wait. Extensions are easy.

Email the FAA for an extension, they will get back via email in 1-2 biz days with a printable PDF extension. Easy fast simple free. I’ve been waiting almost a year still no registration

this really takes me back.

I had to fly student solo to ORF from JGG to meet the examiner for my checkride. Upon the initial paperwork check part of the oral the examiner pointed out the fact that the rental plane's temp registration was expired...just barely past the 90 days as I recall. Had to reschedule the ride, and my CFI had to fly over to pick me up...
ugh.. I don't remember how we missed that!
