I took my high school buddy the day after I got my Private. What's more surprising is his parents let him fly with me... (I was 17)

I did. I took the wife up on the day after my checkride. I told her that she was in charge and the instant she mentioned that she wasn't having fun, I agreed that we'd immediately turn back to the airport. She did that 5 minutes after we departed.
