I know the source cannot be trusted. I saw a Barnstormers ad for a brand new 2013 T182T Skylane and the ad claims they are no longer going to be produced. Is this true? Is it because of the new jet fuel model? Just curious.

Ad is fro ma broker I assume and here is the link:

No longer listed on cessna.com either. The gas (100LL) T182T is gonzo.

Actually, Van Bortel is one of the most trustworthy dealers out there, IMHO. :D
And yes Cessna is dropping the T182T for the diesel version.

The diesel is set to replace the t182 . Performance is supposed to be close with better fuel economy. At least that's what they where saying at sun n fun.

Yep, Cessna has been wanting to have a diesel fleet for years.

Thanks for the confirmation guys. That ad just got me wondering.
