I'm curious as to the typical usage of more than one aircraft by POA members. Do you own a single aircraft that is your sole ride? Do you rent only one aircraft? Rent multiple? Club? Provide services (flight instruction, maintenance, etc.) in multiple types? Multiple answers allowed.

I own a single plane, but recently most of my time has been in other planes.

Nothing "fits" like that 182 though

Edit, to answer the question, probably 8 aircraft of 7 different types

I picked option 1, since even though I don't own the 310 I am the sole pilot of it and am president of the non-profit that owns it.

I used to fly 7 different planes, but not anymore. With my lower hours, I prefer to only fly one.

Option 1. My 182RG. While it's in the shop though for the next month I might rent something.. not sure yet.

Own a two seater, when I need more seats I usually borrow or rent a 172 or a Cherokee 180. Also rent when my plane and I are in separate states.

Club has 2 Warriors, an Archer, a 182, 2 172's, a 152, an Arrow and a Senaca.

Mostly fly the Warriors with an occasional trip to 40I for a Champ.

Cheers

I voted multiple because it's technically true, but both are C-172s. A C model and a K model, so they are pretty different as C-172s go.

I'm just a dumbass that thought two airplanes was better than one. The good news is that the annuals do not fall at the same time.

I instruct in a soaring club, there are 4 gliders plus the tow plane that I fly. Plus occasionally the members offer their personal glider.

There are 3 different aircraft at the local airplane flight school that I rent as needed.

I selected "club/ownership of one aircraft" but also rent when my mission requires.

I am a former owner, and hopefully will be one again very soon. Flew that Taylorcraft a bunch personally and with students, but am regularly in about 8-10 other aircraft types with students.

Own and fly two, C182Q, mostly VFR, and for traveling C425. About 75-85 hours per year total.

Own one, about 100hrs/year average
Rent as needed (retract for CP and CFI, multi in the near future)
Fly things that I buy, once or twice or three times

I belong to a club that has 4 planes. I've flown them all, but tend to concentrate on one of the C-172s and the C-182.

I used to rent and flew lots of different planes regularly. Now I own and only fly one. I much prefer it this way.
