Stratus 3.....ADSB not working.

When I turn on the Stratus 3, all three lights come on. Then, the ADSB light goes off and stays off. Took it up flying yesterday and got no traffic in the air. The ADSB light never came on. Is it toast?

Did this get resolved ? Reason for asking is, my Stratus 2s just did this last flight, haven’t figured out what’s wrong yet.

Piper 6 is asking about his Stratus 2, which I believe does not have the Open ADSB feature.

Maybe try a firmware update, or a reset?

I was surprised just a few months ago to see that the Stratus 3 has been discontinued, replaced with Stratus 4. Has a few more bells and whistles such as a color touch screen display, Apple Find My Device, and a G meter, all of which are things that don't really appeal to me. I just want simple - stick it on rear window, turn it on, it works.

Check the horizon app to see if software is up to date. Reset the unit by holding down the power button for around 30 seconds. What did Appereo say?

I'd reach out to Support and see what they say. But while you're waiting for a reply, it wouldn't hurt to download the firmware, even if you have the current version, then 1) do a Factory Reset 2) install the firmware you downloaded. That might fix the issue.
