I always thought the Inflatoplane was totally cool. I remember reading about them in the C.B. Colby military books as a kid in elementary school. They were 44 cubic feet when deflated. I did my best to figure out how much space that was and it was more than I could carry on my bike.

Very cool idea, though. Would the whole plane qualify as de-icing boots? ;-)
