I am looking for a ‘40’s era altimeter for a Stinson 108. Specifically, I need one with the baro adjustment knob in the six o’clock position. Anyone have any ideas where I can find one? Yes, ideally it should be in reasonable working order. Thanks.

That looks like a 10,000 foot altimeter. Since it is POSSIBLE for the Stinson to fly higher than that, I don’t think it will work for me.

Looks like the one you don't want is part number AW-2-3/4-32L. Any idea what the part number is for the non-10,000 foot one?

On the other hand, how hard is it to distinguish 11000 feet from 1000 feet in a Stinson 108? I would imagine you could mentally add the 10000 whenever you find yourself up that high.
