State-by-State

As someone who has been sent a bill for landing fees from a state I've never flown all because the New York port authority got the wrong tail number. Adsb would have prevented that. Spent months explaining the tail number wasn't mine. They even sent pictures of the plane with a tail number that didn't match mine.

The problem isn't adsb. The problem is fees. Don't land at airports with stupid exorbitant fees

My Dad gets red light camera tickets from Chicago all the time because someone has mangled their license plate enough to make a letter look different and it's his plate.

My Dad got the equivalent of a red light camera ticket for running a toll booth on a NJ Turnpike exit. It came with a printed copy of a photo of his car in the act. The photo clearly showed a BMW. 25 cent toll, $25.00 dollar fine. His car was a Ford Taurus.

It took six months of back and forth mail, copies of his registration clearly showing his car was a Taurus, to get clear of that one! He was in his 80s at the time and I had to pursue that one for him. He was livid, got red in the face angry every time the next letter arrived!

ADSB another safety factor being abused for collection of fees.

And I don't blame him! I very quickly would have changed from polite to downright nasty in my responses.
