Sonex down Lodi WI. Pilot ok

Sonex don't carry much fuel, and the tank is mounted in the cockpit forward of the panel. The wings fold and remove easily, so that would not be a great place to put the fuel tanks.

One report noted clipped trees prior to landing in field.
 
Lodi isn’t exactly the hardest runway, but it’s also not exactly the easiest, but not somewhere to land if you bring it in like a F104.

Flew in there and jumped there a few times, had one of my students do his PPL long cross country out of there.
