So I Came Across This Just Now (John & Martha)

John and Martha were always a little corny for me, but also very funny facial expressions played in slo mo

"that would be cool"

OMG, I shouldn't be laughing, but I am.

John and Martha made a bunch of money.

Good for them.

But I can last longer watching Tom and Jerry these days....and lasted longer watching Tom and Jerry in the old days.....:goofy:

John should have recruited Pam Anderson.....he would have done much better...

You would have same content....with a better "panel" to look at.

Anything is better than a white girl Afro !!!:rofl::yikes::yes:

I would have liked to see the takeoff from Meigs Field...

Nice folks in real life, and very knowledgable regarding what I'll call the politics of the training environment.

I've never been a big fan of their training videos...did my instrument written prep watching Martha in the VHS days. Besides the obvious, I was disappointed in the fact that it's only written test prep. If it ain't on the test, it's not in the program. Never liked that philosophy.

Oooh I bet he wishes he had that one back. But hey I have personally crashed every plane in MS FS 2000 into the Sears Tower so I can't criticize.

I am a fan of their videos but they need to reshoot them with modern equipment (that includes the hosts, sorry) and make them available in iPad-friendly formats. They helped me pass the IR written.

The only traumatizing aspect is when "Old Martha" makes appearances. Time spares none of us. It is somewhat traumatizing. :D But I give them full marks for accuracy and enthusiasm.

So, now we know the REAL reason for this:

To be honest I wondered recently what would happen if UAL had a pilot like the German Wings nut job and who decided to take it out on his employer by crashing into their HQ. If you don't know, they are located in a rather tall building (Willis Tower) in downtown Chicago. It is a frightening scenario and definitely not outside the realm of possibility though one cannot dwell on it.

I respectfully disagree,

I had both "panels" but I prefer genuine "panels" no risk of leakage! :yesnod:

I totally agree,

At the end of the day it's YOUR life on the line. Learn as much as you can!
