Has anyone been able to get this app to work?
Its supposed to integrate Skew-T into your briefings but I can't seem to get it to work at all.
Post if you have tried it out and know how it works.

Pretty sure NOAA is no longer releasing Skew-T diagrams into the wild, so I wouldn’t expect an app using that data would be useful.

There is SkewT availability unrelated to the NOAA public offerings. I’ve been using this one for a few months now.

Starting to stick my toes in the water on the whole skew T thing for planning. How accurate do they tend to be ? Now that I can decipher what its saying man there is a ton of information there.

It’s not intended to be sole source. You compare such things as CAPE with Sigmets to get a fuller picture. In its proper context, I have found it very reliable if I am concerned with cloud layers, icing, and the potential for connective activity.

With more understanding, one can get a bigger picture, but even at a simpler level, it can round out information from a standard briefing.

That’s what I’ve been doing with a trip we are taking this weekend. Looking at the skew t along the route and comparing with imagery on FF.
It’s starting to make more sense…. Slowly
