I just began using ForeFlight. After my very first flight using it, I noticed it logged that flight's three legs as one log entry. Can I specify that ForeFlight create one log entry per leg? Thanks, Jay
I'm not sure why you would care but if you do (I can see reasons you may want the opposite), reject the draft and enter the multiple flights separately.
In Garmin Pilot, you can put in the amount of time you allow to elapse after landing to create separate flights. I suspect FF might have a similar setting. I had the opposite want, stop for lunch and fuel, but want both legs as a single flight, so I lengthened the interval to 2 hours. Again, no idea if this is what FF does, but suspect you might find a similar setting.
I usually just want to use one line, just easier and doesn’t use as much space. FF gets weird, I noticed if you enter the logs right away the info isn’t always right, and if you come back let’s say 30 minutes later then it had time to update the track log and seems correct, sort of fixes itself.
How long between flights? Mine always logs separate flights. Even if the stop is just for gas, bathroom and water break (~30 minutes). Edit: I have to say, the other day I started up, taxied to self serve, shut down, then went and flew, and FF logged that as one flight. Maybe because I never took off on the first taxi (that actually makes sense). So I went in and edited the start time from when I left SS to taxi to the runup area.
