Waymo says they'll be offering taxi service to the public in Arizona. This got me wondering...

What order would you choose from safest to most dangerous?

1. Self driving taxi
2. Random previously unknown Uber driver
3. Safety pilot for a random previously unknown private pilot regaining instrument currency
4. Riding a motorcycle

Statistically speaking, the order you've got is probably about right. Public perception wise for most people, the opposite would probably be the case.
