Sectional in garmin pilot not rasterizing on samsung g9

I am a new pilot (but a recently retired engineer ), I have garmin pilot loaded on my samsung g9. I connected it to a status transponder in the warrior P28 161 I fly. When I did the sectional does not rasterize on the screen. I have garmin pilot 25.5.1 on the phone. I does load the sectional at home when I just enter some waypoints. Any helpful ideas to try?

Offhand, I can think of one possibility - you don't have the sectionals downloaded on the Samsung tablet. You wouldn't notice it when not connected to the Stratus because they just download over WiFi or mobile data. But since Stratus connected to your tablet via WiFi, you wouldn't be able to download on demand.
