Touchdown! Greaser!
When I go scuba diving, there is frequently at least one person who gets seasick. Last trip, someone had a pair of these glasses for them to use and they worked, I grabbed some for the future because I'm a sympathetic puker, if I see someone getting sick, so will I. It's an investment in having a better trip.
It just occurred to me that they might work on an airplane too. Has anyone tried them yourself or with passengers? Apparently they work for 90% of people.
They look funny. The rings contain liquid which moves with motion and creates an artificial horizon in your peripheral vision to help your brain make sense of the motion. The glasses were invented about 25 years ago, but I guess they're just starting to be more popular?
