RV10 or C182 or Other for my needs...?

I have a Trinidad TB-20. Useful load 1248, cruise at 140 at 65 percent power burning 11.8 GP and 5 seats. Awesome load speed combo. Great solid airplane.
 
You are 300#, the wife 140#, add full fuel and there isn't much usable load left, meaning you will be flying around at gross weight most of the time.

Get a Grand Caravan, huge cabin that will fit you and all 4 kids, and spouses and dogs. Pretty good range up high and cruises at about 175kts true. Up at 10,000 burning about 375 pounds per hour. Easy airplane to fly.
