Russia intercepted a drone?

The equipment vendor, Rostec, denies the report and points to a rumor-mongering portal as the original source of the lies:

(in Russian)
Of course they immediately mention that the responsibility lies with the user, way to undermine your own denials guys.

In any case, from what I know about Avtobaza, it is an recon complex. It cannot suppress communications. Its claim to fame is extreme sensitivity, which permits to track drones through their satellite communications despite their antennas "pointing" upwards (I mean they have FARs, so they point electronically).

The may be active systems now marketed under the Avtobaza project name due to a certain cachet the original had.
