It was pretty windy here the last few days.

I wonder if my hat made it to north Texas...

Went out a few weeks back after a night of hard winds. Dang if my Pitot Tube cover wasn't blow off. It was an inexpensive one, and tube cover was starting to crack. Replaced with a more stout one with a Velcro strap. If it gets blown off, the plane won't be where I left it.

They used to have an explosive charge build into the envelope, one got away here years ago; boom & down it came into a pasture.
