Renters insurance?

I called AOPA last year for a quote for a $75,000 hull coverage renters policy. It was close to $800. I started to tell her my ratings and experience and she said that doesn't matter on renters insurance. That seems wrong. When I was insuring my own plane it made a lot of difference.

Renters insurance is a good racket for the insurance agencies. They get to sell (expensive) commercial coverage to the FBO, then sell renters insurance to cover the same plane...
